Himalaya Computers started in Soldier Bazar selling PCs and parts over the counter. The internet side came from listening to customers: they would buy a good machine and then complain that nothing loaded on it. So we started laying fiber.
Today we run both — a licensed ISP covering Soldier Bazar and the streets around it, and the same hardware shop where the owner is usually behind the counter. That combination is the whole point. When your connection is slow we can tell you honestly whether the problem is our line, your router, or the fifteen-year-old machine it is plugged into. And we can fix any of the three.
We keep the rate card short and the price on your bill the same every month. What we sell is a connection that stays up, a phone number that gets answered, and an engineer who turns up the same day.
If your problem is a dying hard drive and not your internet, we will tell you — even though the internet upgrade would have earned us more.
We deal with the distributor on your behalf. You bring the item to the counter and we take it from there.
The person who installs your fiber is on our payroll, not a contractor who disappears. That is why our installs stay tidy.
